The Cloverleaf 4-H Club started their New Year with their regular monthly meeting held Oct. 5.  We met at the Macksville Grade School.

The new officers for 2009-2010 are president Derek Bevans, vice president Evan Loomis, secretary Jena Clowers, treasurer Jenna Renfro, reporter Cody Burnett, parliamentarians Caleb Lickiss, Evan Loomis, Jena Clowers and the alternates are Susie Acosta and Billy Burnett.

Derek Bevans called the meeting to order.  Darian led us in the flag salute and Nathaniel led us in the 4-H pledge.  The club decided to make a window display in downtown Macksville to celebrate 4-H week.  We also decided to have a hay rack ride - scavenger hunt and invite friends that want to be a part of 4-H.  The “Movie in the Park” was a big success so we decided to have one again next year!

We did not have a program on this night.  The Clowers and Miller families provided refreshments for guests and our members.

On Oct. 18 our club participated in 4-H Sunday.  The featured church was the Catholic Church in Belpre.

Have a great New Year in 4-H everyone!  If you are interested in 4-H call your local extension office 549-3502 or talk to a friend that's in 4-H.
