Crossing the Water, a local band from Stafford, will be performing a free concert on Saturday, May 2 at 7 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Stafford.
The band is dedicating their concert to the memory of their close friend and classmate, Melody Poole, who died April 17 in a car accident.
A love offering will be taken with a portion of the proceeds going toward a memorial for Melody.
Shawn Hayes, Matt Hildebrand and Ian Johnson make up Crossing the Water and they’ll be offering their own CD, “Rising Above”, for $5 each.
A single release CD of “By Your Side” by Crossing the Water with Jordan Hildebrand is also available by donation and all proceeds going to the memorial.
