  • 033012/0058       Officer responded to the 200 block of S. Pearl in reference to an aggravated burglary.  The person who entered the residence was gone on the officer’s arrival.  A search was conducted and the person was not located.
    033012/0142       Officer gave a warning to a driver in the 600 block of E. 1st for speeding.
    033012/1555       Officer conducted a welfare check with the Health Department in the 500 block of W. 2nd.
    033012/2000       Officer unlocked a vehicle for a citizen at Dillons.
    033012/2030       Officer spoke with a  citizen in the 300 block of S. Main in reference to a civil matter.
    033012/2145       Officer spoke with a citizen in the 800 block of N. West in reference to suspicious activity.
    033112/0008       Officer responded to the 100 block of S. Pearl in reference to an explosion.  Upon arrival officer was told by citizens at the location the explosion was accidental and involved a bucket of gasoline.
    033112/0818       Officer responded to the 200 block of W. 9th in reference to a horse out.  Officer placed the horse back in the corral with the help of the citizens who called in the complaint.
    033112/0958       Officer observed a dog at large in the 300 block of S. Main.  The dog was returned to the owner in the same block who discovered the dog’s collar had broke.
    033112/2227       Officer responded to the 300 block of E. 1st in reference to a report of fireworks.  Officer spoke with citizens in the area and was told someone had driven by in a dark colored mini-van and thrown the fireworks from the vehicle.
    040112/2055       Officer assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop and arrest on Highway 281 by Raindrop Repair.
    040212/0745       Officer responded to NW 40th just north of town in reference to a report of a truck crashed into the trees.  The Sheriff’s Office arrived and completed an accident report and the truck was towed to impound.
    040212/0915       Officer spoke with a citizen on the phone reference a civil matter.
    040212/1309       Officer responded to Highway 281 and 50 junction to assist the Sheriff’s Office with an accident.
    040212/1801       Officer responded to the school in reference to a hit and run accident in the parking lot.
    040212/1916       Officer assisted the Halstead Police Department in locating a citizen in St. John and having them call the Police Department.
    040212/2207       Officer opened the impound lot so a towed vehicle could be placed inside.
    040312/1845       Officer was given a black casio cell phone by a citizen in the 500 block of E. 3rd.  Someone had placed the phone in the citizen’s mail box.
    040312/1921       Officer responded to the 700 block of N. Exchange in reference to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the alley.  Officer checked the vehicle and learned the driver was waiting to pick up a vehicle from a residence in the same block.
    Page 2 of 2 - 040412/0845       Officer responded to the 400 block of E. 1st in reference to a dog at large.  On arrival the officer did not find the dog, but contacted the owner who returned to town and found the dog and tied it back up.
    040412/1230       Officer gave a driver a verbal warning for speeding in the 200 block of E. 8th.
    040412/1315       Officer spoke with a citizen in the 500 block of W. 3rd in reference to their dog being at large.
