St. John 2012 Alumni Banquet in the works
It’s somewhat mind boggling to realize that for the past 125 years, there have been seniors graduating from St. John and Hudson. But when you do, you also realize this is a great reason to make this years’ Alumni Banquet a “must” do event during St. John’s annual Jubilee weekend.
Page 2 of 2 - Saturday, May 26 is the planned date during St. John’s Jubilee weekend celebration.  In the planning stages at this point are tours of St. John School  at 2:30 p.m. with class yearbooks available for you to browse and remininisce.
On the 100th year celebration, the “ReEcho Book” was published which was an entertaining look back of those 100 years. It’s hoping to bring that book up to date this year with graduate’s information.
The Banquet will be emceed by Alice (McMillan) Lockridge.  Aside from dinner and reconnecting with friends, there’ll be prize giveaways and tenatively the committee is working to have entertainment by St. John’s own Brent Ronen - either after the banquet or at the auditorium perhaps.
Alumni Banquet tickets are on sale for $15 per person and can be purchased at St. John National Bank and the American State Bank in St. John as well as UMB in Hudson.  Or you can contact Vicki Long at the St. John National Bank for your tickets - 620-549-3225.
If your class is planning a reunion, you’ll also need to call her and advise her the number of tickets you’ll need plus the number of tables to be set up.
For those class reunions that would like to decorate their tables (and every class should because it’s fun!), please contact Pat (Keller)?Crissman at 620-546-5412 as she will be providing the access at the school on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
Deadline for ticket sales is May 18.
