Obituary: Millie Lorene Bradford 1924 - 2012

Millie Lorene Bradford, age 87, died July 6, 2012 at Leisure Homestead, St. John.  She was born on Nov. 23, 1924 in Anderson, Mo., the daughter of Francis A. and Leeta J. (Dunlap) Carr.  She attended the Radium schools, was a homemaker and worked as a Clerk for Wiggins Drug in Larned.  On Mar. 22, 1943, she married Todd Elmer Bradford at St. John, he preceded her in death in 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Craig Bradford and wife Darlene, Topeka,  Larry Bradford, Great Bend; a daughter, Judy Anderson, St. John; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis, a brother Fred and sisters, Pauline, Pearl and Edna.

Funeral service will be 9 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, at Minnis Chapel, St. John, with Pastor Carl Feril presiding.

Burial will follow in the Larned Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday with family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at Minnis Chapel, St. John.

Memorials may be given to Leisure Homestead or Hospice Care of Kansas in care of Minnis Chapel.
