CORPUS CHRISTI-Bernard L. Cook, husband of the late Doris (Johnson) Cook formerly of Macksville, died July 25, 2012. There was a memorial service held July 28, at St. John's United Methodist in Corpus Christi, TX.
Bernard married Doris Johnson of Macksville, before going to Bonebrake Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Upon graduation, they served in Arkansas City and Wichita Hyde Park churches. IN Dayton, Ohio he worked in the Division of Home Missions. At Merger of EUB and Methodist churches, he was sent to the Board of Global Ministries. He retired in 1983.

Bernard's second wife, Charlene (Cleary) Cook of Corpus Christi, TX. Passed away (Feb. 2012) and his son Colonel Gordon L. Cook, passed away in (Feb. 2010) of Conway, SC.
Survivors include Janet and Joseph Aiello of Brewster, N.Y., Charla Hoernemann of Middletown, Ohio, and daughter in law Marilou Cook of Conway, S.C., step-daughter, Patricia Caram of Davis, Okla., Stepson, Michael James of Carrollton, TX.; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Service at Minnis chapel Saturday Oct. 27, at 3 p.m. interment at Fairview Park Cemetery, St John.
