A recent house fire in Stafford has become the featured crime for Stafford County Crime Stoppers according to the organization’s President.
Shortly before 8 p.m., Oct. 31, Halloween Night, a person or persons set fire to a two-story house located at 301 Mincer, Stafford. The house, which was unoccupied at the time, was a total loss. Stafford police chief Doug Brown stated that the way the house burned it was fairly obvious some sort of accelerant had been used.
Several smaller fires and a tree pile west of town were also set in and around Stafford, Halloween Night.
