The Kansas State High School Activities Association has just released the 1A (Div I ) Sub-State basketball brackets for the Coldwater/South-Central Sub-State. These are the official pairings starting with the boys brackets.

The Macksville Mustang boys will receive a bye in the first round while the St. John Tigers play La Crosse @ St. John on Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m., the winner going on to play Ashland@ Coldwater/South-Central on Thursday, March 1 at 6 p.m. That winner will play the winner of the Macksville-Coldwater/South-Central game for the championship @ Coldwater/South-Central on Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 pm.

The St. John Lady Tigers will receive a bye in the first round while the Macksville Lady Stangs play LaCrosse @ LaCrosse on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m., the winner going on to play St. John @ Coldwater/South Central on Friday, March 2 at 6 p.m. in the semi's.The winner will play the winner of the Coldwater/South Central-Ashland game for the championship @ Coldwater/South-Central on Saturday, March 3 at 6 p.m..
