There will be an In-Depth Weed Management - Sprayer Technology School held on Tuesday, March 2, at the Pratt County 4-H Center, on the fairgrounds, in Pratt. Time is 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Anyone wanting an in-depth look at weed management and sprayer technology application, including farmers, ag chemical and machinery dealers, agency personnel, field scouts, technicians, and others are invited to attend.
The cost for the event is $20 which is payable at the door. This includes a folder of materials and lunch. Please call the Pratt County Extension Office at 620-672-6121 by Friday, Feb. 26 to register.
This program should qualify for a 5.5 pest management and 0.5 Certified Crop Advisor credits and 6.0 credit hours in pest management for Commercial Pesticide Applicator re-certification.
