The 2010 KSU Farm Management Association Summary meeting for Stafford and Barton County will be held on Monday evening, May 10 beginning at 6:30 p.m. It will be held at the St. John´s Lutheran Youth Center, located at 6th and Wilhelm in Ellinwood.
Bryan Manny, Extension Farm Management Agricultural Economist will be on hand to summarize 2009 farm records data. Bryan will also discuss several highlights of "The Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment Act of 2010 (HIRE)" in regards to farm taxation planning, and will review the current status of the Federal Estate tax for 2010. This information is valuable to both farmers and agri- business people. Those attending will receive a 2009 report for the association.
