KU Symphony Orchestra, Saxophone Quartet begin Kansas tour Feb. 26

The University of Kansas Symphony Orchestra and Saxophone Quartet will kick off a tour of Kansas on Friday, Feb. 26. The tour will take the groups to Wichita, Dodge City, Garden City, Great Bend and Salina and will include five KU Alumni Association chapter receptions, including one with Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little on Feb. 28 in Great Bend.

 “Teach the World to Read” is the theme of the 2nd Annual Kansas Youth Book Drive taking place through February.  The mission is to collect new and gently used story books to be distributed to children - not just in the U.S. - but all over the world.
