Ronald and Brenda Matteson of Phillipsburg are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendra Kay Matteson, to Robert Joseph (RJ) Meyer III, son of Robert Jr. & Phyllis Meyer of Colwich, Kansas.
Grandparents are Roscoe Matteson and the late Frances Matteson of Phillipsburg, the late Kenneth and Elizabeth Brobst of rural Stockton, Robert Sr. and Virginia Meyer of Andale, and Charles and Wilma Hollerich of Tipton.
The bride elect is a 2006 graduate of Eastern Heights High School, Agra, Kansas and is enrolled in Health and Human Performance at Fort Hays State University and will graduate in December 2010. Kendra is presently employed as an admission clerk at the Hays Medical Center.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2005 graduate from St. John High School, St John, and a 2009 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He is currently employed by the Knights of Columbus selling insurance.
A May 8, 2010, wedding is planned at St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria, Kansas.
