This year Stafford County Hospital along with Dr. Farmer conducted a “clinic” to perform the physicals for the students in 5-11th grade.

Kansas State High School Activities Association requires a Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation prior to participating in any school sports activities. This year Stafford County Hospital along with Dr. Farmer conducted a “clinic” to perform the physicals for the students in 5-11th grade.

The students attend Macksville, St John and Stafford middle school and high schools. These physicals are for the school year of 2016/2017 which will have to be in the school files prior to any student beginning practice of any of the activities offered by the school.

A Thank You goes to Deb Donovan, APRN, Jill Burbank, RPAC, Sally Kreger, APRN, Brenda Mercer, APRN and Dr. Farmer the providers that assisted in making this happen. And a BIG thanks to all of those that assisted with this clinic, School Nurses, Stafford County Health Department, Dr. Farmer’s employees, and Stafford County Hospital Employees.

This was a service to the community as theses physicals were completed free of charge to the students whom participated.
