Veteran storm chaser and photographer Eugene Thieszen will present “Dangerous Beauty: Storms Through the Lens” at 7 p.m. on April 25 at Newton Public Library, 720 N. Oak.

Thieszen grew up in the middle of tornado alley in central Nebraska. He has been fascinated by weather and severe storms ever since an F-5 tornado passed near his childhood home in May 1964. He’s been chasing and photographing storms since 1999. He lives in western Kansas, traveling about to capture through the lens the dangerous beauty of our Midwestern weather.

All are welcome to attend this free program.
