The Macksville Scholar's Bowl team took first place in the Skyline Scholar's Bowl Invitational and had the two top individual scorers in the tournament.

Stafford County schools were well represented at the Skyline Scholar's Bowl Invitational Nov. 16. Macksville took top honors in the meet with a perfect 9-0 record. Macksville's Gabe Wolff earned top point total with 290 while Macksville's Jacob Suiter was second in point totals with 270. Macksville team members are Anna Suiter, Gabe Wolff, Nate Brandyberry, Jacob Suiter, Wilhelm Penner and Parker Rodriguez.

Stafford placed third with Jayce Hildebrand taking third place in individual point totals with 230 points.

St. John placed seventh in the event.

Teams competed in a round robin format. Question categories were Social Science, Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, Fine Arts and Year-in-Review.

Top Scorers in the tournament were Gabe Wolff-Macksville 290; Jacob Suiter-Macksville 270; Jayce Hildebrand-Stafford 230; Tucker Dunn-Norwich 226.
