Quinten Sanders and Tyler Keller, both of Stafford, were injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident early New Year's Day morning.
A pair of Stafford residents were injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident early New Year's Day. Injured in accident were 20-year-old Quinten Sanders and 20-year-old Tyler Keller, both of Stafford.
The accident occurred when a southbound 2001 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Michael McCloskey Jr. 34 of Catoosa, Okla., went out of control on NE 90th Avenue about one eighth of a mile south of NE 40th Street. That is about 2.5 miles north of Stafford. The vehicle went into a field on the east side of the road then crossed the highway and went into a field on the west side of the roadway where it rolled one time before coming to rest upright, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol on-line crash log.
Sanders and Keller were both transported to Stafford District Hospital. Neither were wearing seat belts at the time of the wreck. McCloskey was wearing a seat belt and was listed as "unknown if injured." The accident was reported at 1:15 a.m.
