A Stafford family escaped injury after their vehicle slid off the Stafford blacktop on NE 70th Avenue and just north of NE 110th Street Feb. 22.

A Stafford family escaped injury following a one-vehicle accident in Pratt County Feb. 22.

The accident occurred at NE 70th Avenue (Stafford blacktop) and just north of NE 110th Street in Pratt County.

Anecia Beaman, 25 of Stafford, was southbound in a 2004 Ford Freestar on NE 70th Avenue when she lost control of the vehicle on ice and skidded off the west side of the road into the ditch where the vehicle laid over on the driver's side, said Kansas Highway Patrol Master Trooper Mark Crump.

Beaman and her three passengers 2-year-old Jacelyne Beaman, 3-year-old Claylyne Troyer and 5-month-old Damian Beaman were not injured in the accident and none were transport. Beaman was wearing a seatbelt and all three children were in child safety seats at the time of the accident that was reported at 10:14 a.m. on Feb. 22.
