The Circles out of Poverty class graduated nine members March 5 at the St. John Methodist Church.

The 2018 St. John Circles out of Poverty class received diplomas at a ceremony March 5 at the St. John Methodist Church in St. John.

Members are committed to the program for another 18 months. Once a month the members will meet with their allies from the community who help them in whatever area they want to learn, said Teresa Miller, St. John Circles coach.

Youth Corp Ministries sponsors the Circles program. It is through community support that the Circles program is successful, said Sheryl White, development coordinator of Youth Core Ministries.
