1 GRAND O’ OPRY — Beginning with a pre-show performance by Rance and Caleb McKenzie at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, the Grand O’ Opry takes the stage at Ottawa Memorial Auditorium, 301 S. Hickory St., Ottawa. At 7 p.m., the Grand O’ Opry musicians will begin their performance, consisting of: Dale Reese, Bobby Ray, Abner Reese and Mike Whetstone on guitar; Mike Newton on bass guitar; Stewart Denton on drums and BJ Boucek on keyboard. Jim Winters and Lorena Prater will also take the stage. Doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets are $10 and sold at the door.
2 CURIOUS GEORGE — Everyone’s favorite mischievous monkey will perform live in “Curious George: The Golden Meatball” 2 p.m. Sunday at the OMA, 301 S. Hickory St., Ottawa. George has been anxiously awaiting the annual All–You-Can-Eat Meatball Day. On Meatball Day, he is helping his friend, Chef Pisghetti, cook up some meatballs, but the crowd they are serving has vanished. Something is keeping them away. 3 EASTER BUNNY VISIT — The Easter Bunny will be visiting yards and houses everywhere next weekend. Before that, he’s making a pit stop 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Cosentino’s Price Chopper, 120 E. 19th. St., Ottawa. Face painting will also be available.
