More spring-like weather is on tap for Thursday in Topeka and northeast Kansas, as highs should top out around 70 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Highs Friday should touch 70 degrees before a chance for precipitation in the night-time hours.

Saturday's high should be in the upper 50s, with Palm Sunday's highs around 60 degrees.

Areas of very high fire danger are possible across central and east-central Kansas this afternoon.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
