Two men were arrested with more than an ounce of marijuana on Sunday afternoon after Hoisington police used a confidential informant to arrange a sale at a parking lot on the 100 block of E. Broadway, Capt. Josh Nickerson said.
Jose LaRocque-Dunn, 20, of Hays, and Brayden Clark, 19, of Hoisington, remained in Barton County Jail Monday afternoon instead of a $100,000 bond.
Following the sting around 1 p.m., both men were charged with unlawful distribution of controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school. LaRocque-Dunn also has two charges of drug paraphernalia, while Clark has charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and unlawful distribution of a controlled substance using a communication device.
