Sheriff’s Office Arrests

• 9:51 a.m. Wednesday, Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center, 226 S. Beech St., a 17-year-old Rantoul resident on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear.

• 2:23 p.m. Thursday, 2400 block of I-35, Amber Talbert, 23, Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested and issued a notice to appear on suspicion of possession of marijuana, driving while suspended, and no proof of insurance, after being stopped for a traffic infraction, according to a sheriff’s report. A passenger in the vehicle, Rachael Talbert, 24, Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested and issued a notice to appear on suspicion of possession of marijuana, according to the report.

• 9:05 a.m. Wednesday, Ottawa High School, 1120 S. Ash St., a 17-year-old on a Franklin County warrant.

• 12:09 a.m. Thursday, 400 block of South Oak Street, Charles Robinson, 42, Ottawa, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 1:11 a.m. Thursday, 700 block of South Lincoln Street, Justin Criqui, 37, Ottawa, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia, after being contacted during a traffic stop.

• 2:18 a.m. Friday, 2500 block of East Logan Street, Jennifer Whitworth, 39, Ottawa, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia, possession of depressants, and driving while suspended, after being contacted during a traffic stop.

• 4:39 a.m. Friday, 2500 block of East Logan Street, Emily Kuenzi, 29, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving under the influence, transporting an open container, battery on law enforcement, and interference with law enforcement, after being reported as an erratic driver on the interstate.

• 8:28 a.m. Wednesday, 300 block of Truman Street, Pomona, the City of Pomona reported the theft of utilities at an address in Pomona. The case is under investigation.

• 7:07 p.m. Wednesday, Ottawa Police Department, 715 W. Second St., a 32-year-old woman reported she was raped by a known suspect. The case is under investigation.

• 9:21 a.m. Thursday, 500 block of North Main Street, a 17-year-old Pomona boy was found to be without adequate parental care and was taken into custody.

• 2:40 p.m. Thursday, 700 block of South Lincoln Street, a 23-year-old woman reported being injured by a known suspect. The case is under investigation.

Thefts

• 3:19 p.m. Thursday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., reported theft of items from the store. Dakota Jackson, 18, Quenemo, was arrested in connection with the incident.

• 4:02 p.m. Thursday, 900 block of South Walnut Street, a 25-year-old Ottawa woman reported items were stolen from her house.

• 6:29 p.m. Thursday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., reported theft of items from the store. Michael Peters, 22, Ottawa, was cited and released in connection with the incident.

• 6:49 p.m. Thursday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Prinecton St., reported theft of items from the store. Reginald Winfield, 24, Ottawa, was cited and released in connection with the incident.

Accidents

• 7:27 a.m. Wednesday, 300 block of East 15th Street, a 1996 Geo driven by Jarrod Parks, 46, Wichita, went through a stop sign and struck a 2003 Chevrolet driven by a 17-year-old girl. Parks was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
