The city of Salina has scheduled work on downtown streetscape and waterline replacement projects next week, depending on weather.
Waterline work at Walnut Street and Santa Fe Avenue affect northbound traffic south of Walnut and eastbound traffic east of Santa Fe..
Crews will continue removing pavement and curbs on the east side of Santa Fe Avenue north of the crosswalk structure between Mulberry and Walnut streets.
Waterline crews will continue work between South and Walnut streets.
The South Street and Santa Fe Avenue intersection will be open to cross traffic.
The intersection of Mulberry Street and Santa Fe Avenue will remain open.
Pedestrian access to all storefronts will be available, even though Santa Fe Avenue street parking will be disrupted.
People are being encouraged to park in public lots along Fifth and Seventh streets.
