The Count Your Kid In free (interagency) preschool screening will be held Friday, Aug. 6 at the Church of Christ, 609 N. Pearl St., St. John from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The screening is jointly sponsored by South Central Kansas  Special Education Cooperative, Stafford County Health Department, Sunflower Early Education Center, Head Start-Kansas Children’s Service League and Parents as Teachers.
This screening is for all of Stafford County and includes the school districts of Stafford (USD 349), St. John-Hudson (USD 350) and Macksville (USD 351).
The screening is offered for children ranging in ages from birth to five years old. Areas screened will be motor, concepts, communication, social and self-help development, vision, hearing, health and/or nutrition.
