Macksville Schools enrollment info and dates

Enrollment will be held Thursday, August 5 12:00 Noon to 7:00 P.M. and August 6 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

All students entering school in Kansas for the first time are required by Kansas law to present an immunization card. This card must have the record of DPT, Polio, MMR, Varicella (chicken pox), and Hepatitis B (series of 3). These shots may be received from the County Health Nurse in St. John.

Kindergarten students must have a birth certificate, social security number, and immunization records and must be five years of age on or before August 31, 2010. First Grade students must be six years of age on or before August 31,2010. They also need to have a physical on file on the first day of school.

Any Senior High or Junior High student planning to play sports will need a physical examination form on file before participating in any sport practice.

Also any new student in the district needs to have a physical on file the first day of school.

Family: $45
2011 Yearbooks: $35 after enrollment $40
2010 Yearbooks: $35

LUNCH TICKETS
Grades K-6: 1 meal $2.50; 5 meals $12.50; 10 meals $25.00; 20 meals $50.00.
Grades 7-12: 1 meal $2.75; 5 meals $13.75; 10 meals $27.50; 20 meals $55.00.
Adults: $3.50 a meal. Guest meals $4.00.
Breakfast K-12: $1.50; Adults $2.00.
Milk: $.50 cents.

BUS TRANSPORTATION
Bus Service will start Thursday, August 19, 2010. The first few days will be a flexible time of adjustment and within the week the time will be regulated to a regular schedule. If you have questions concerning transportation contact the Central Office any time after August 2, 2010. Macksville U.S.D. #351 maintains a drug free school. All buildings are asbestos free environments.
