Elisa “Vanessa” Valenzuela Mendoza and Ty Harris Cornwell, both of St. John, were married Oct. 28, 2011 in Boca del Rio, Veracruz, Mexico.
The bride is the daughter of the late Juan Valenzuela Ramirez and Rosa Elisa Mendoza Verde, Boca del Rio, Veracruz. The groom is the son of Joe and Lisa Cornwell, St. John.
Witnesses of the bride and groom were Sara Maraboto, Lucia, Mendoza, Julio, Sanchez and Carla Robinson.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Colegio La Salle de Veracruz, and 2010 graduate of the University of Villa Rico, her degree is business administration. The groom is a 2005 graduate of St. John High School and a 2009 graduate of Missouri Welding Institute. He ranches and farms with Cornwell Farms in St. John.
The couple currently resides in Veracruz and will return to St. John for their permanent residence.
