A motorcycle versus deer accident near St. John, Sunday, resulted in fatal injuries to Great Bend resident William Rhodes.
Rhodes, 53, was southbound on U.S. Hwy 281 just south of the overpass near St. John when his Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a deer.
Rhodes was transported by Stafford County EMS to the Stafford County Hospital where he was airlifted to Via Christ St. Francis hospital in Wichita.
Rhodes died of his injuries Tuesday.
