The annual grade school Physical Education Program gives students kindergarten through fourth grade students a chance to perform various activities enjoyed during their physical education class.
Some of the activities, or performances will include the Hokey Pokey, Tag Game, Castle Ball, Obstacle Course, and a grand finale from the first through fourth grade students.
The activities are all based on physical education class activities that the students have participated in during the school year.
The activities are designed to provide physical exercise while developing rhythm and agility skills and interacting with teams and other students.
The Physical Education program is an annual event at the St. John/Hudson School district.
"This is a good program for parents and grandparents to attend," said Cindy Friesen, USD 350 PE instructor. "It gives the students a chance to demonstrate some of the skills they work on during class”
The performance begins at 7 p.m. in the north gym. Students are requested to dress in everyday clothes and report to their classrooms at 6:45 p.m. Kindergarten parents are asked to sit on the first two rows on the south side of the gym so the younger students can sit with their parents after they perform.
