Special Christmas Events in Stafford County

-  Saturday, December 24  -   The St. John and Antrim United Methodist Churches are offering three different candle light services on Christmas Eve.

The St. John services are at 6 pm and 11 pm featuring scripture readings, music and carols.

The Antrim services offers an informal time from 8 pm to 8:45 pm with music and the Christmas story.

The congregations extend their warmest welcometo you at the special time of year, and all year, to join them.

St. John UMC is located at 807 E. 1st St., St. John and the Antrim UMC is six miles south of US 50 on 281 and 2 miles west, South East 60th St and South West 20th Ave

-  Saturday, December 24, 7 pm  -  Eden Valley Church of the Brethren will have a Christmas Eve Service at the church.  This will be a beautiful candlelight service with the lighting of the Advent Candles and the offering of Communion during the service.

 Everyone in our community is warmly invited to join in our evening of worship on this very special night.

-  Saturday, December 24 , 7 pm -   Trinity Community Church, Hudson is featuring  “The ornaments, cast and choir” in an evening filled with music and whimsy as the audience watch the tree ornaments awaking from their yearly hibernation by the movement of their storage box and come alive only to find through twist and turns how they each have significance in God’s amazing plan of redemption through His Son, Jesus.      (A combined service provided by Peace Church and Trinity Community Church)
 
11 pm - Peace and Trinity Candlelight Communion Servic, will be held at Peace Church (located five miles east of 281 on K19 highway).  Come enjoy a rich tradition in honoring the German heritage of each community and church as the congregation will join together in candlelight to sing one verse of Silent Night in German.  All are invited to attend.      
 
-  Sunday, December 25, 11:30 am  -  Christmas Dinner - an annual tradition by and for the St. John-Hudson Community provided by First United Methodist Church. Located in the Fellowship Hall at 807 E. 1st St., St. John.

 Come and enjoy good food, great fun and womderful fellowship on this Christmas Day. Open to anyone and everyone, there is no charge for dinner and even take-out food is available.

 Rides to and from the dinner are available by calling 620-549-3896.
