011112/1420 A property owner requested the Police Department keep an eye on a property in the 100 block of E. 5th for suspicious activity.
011112/2120 Officer responded to an alarm at Dollar General. Alarm was inadvertently set off.
011212/1230 Officer checked on a vehicle that appeared to be disabled on Highway 281 by the cemetery. The owner arrived at the same time and advised a tow truck was on they way to removed the vehicle.

011412/0124 Officer responded to the city of Seward to assist the Sheriff’s Office in the search of suspects that fled from a vehicle involved in a pursuit.
011412/0145 Officer responded to the city square in reference to a report of vehicles driving recklessly and spinning their tires. Upon the officers arrival the vehicles were gone. Investigation is ongoing.

011512/1847 Officer assisted the Barton County Sheriff’s Office and the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office with a high speed pursuit that originated in Barton County. Officer assisted in the pursuit until it reached the Pratt / Stafford County line where it was deemed enough other law enforcement units were involved and officer was advised to discontinue.
011612/1320 Officer observed a dog at large at 5th and Prairie. The owner was contacted and picked up the dog.

011912/0830 Officer spoke to the Director Of Nursing at Leisure Homestead in reference to an email that was sent to the city office by one of the residents at Leisure Homestead.
011912/1400 Officer responded to the 300 block of W. 2nd in reference to a report of a dog at large. Officer spoke to the owner who was looking for the dog and the owner put it back in the pen.
012012/1808 Officer assist Stafford County EMS with a medical emergency at Cherrylane Apartments.
012012/1205 Officer spoke with a citizen at the Short Stop in reference to a dog at large in the area of 5th and Pearl. Officer was unable to locate the dog at the time, but the owner was searching for it as well.
