Think Valentine's Day is a gimmick to separate you from your hard earned cash to honor your sweetheart?  Well, think again.

Now through February 14, the Ida Long Goodman Library in St. John can literally be your one-stop shopping place. And the money you spend all goes toward the purchase of new books for the library.

For a mere $5, you can surprise your loved one with a set of Romance books (gently read), a large candy bar, a heart bookmark and a Valentine card.  That's a lot of bang for the buck, respectively speaking, of course.

Picture it:  A romantic gift, chocolate, hearts, a Valentine card and.....well, the rest is up to you.
