The St. John Tiger golf team took a first of eight at the Trinity Catholic Invitational, Monday, with four golfers placing in the top 10.
Caleb Brening, Trinity, won the individual competition with 85 strokes, but Danton Hilton, Bryce Garner, Aaron Spare, and Jacob Falk placing in the top 10, the Tigers claimed the day.
Hilton led the Tigers with 86 shots for second while Garner came in on his heels with an 89 claiming third place.
Spare was only three strokes back in fourth place with 91, and sophomore Jacob Falk came in ninth with 99 whacks on the ball.
Dace Mercer fell out of the top ten by two strokes hitting 101 to finish in the 11 spot. Austin Young rounded out the Tiger five one stroke back at 102 for 12th position.
