Sunday Jam, St. John:1st Sunday of each month at The Place on 3rd St at the Square, 1 pm - 5 pm
It’s LIVE and it’s LOCAL and it’s a jam session for any one that loves music.
About nine years ago some folks started meeting at the old Radium school house to play music and it grew and grew and then last spring, the building was sold. Well, there’s nothing more depressing than guitar players or fiddlers, singers and piano players needing to play but not having a playground.
But now, thanks to Victoria and Paul Jensen, The Place in St. John is hosting the sessions each first Sunday through May. EVERYONE is welcome and we hear Vicki and friends cook up some goodies usually (a donation keeps them motivated) plus The Place has awesome acoustics, is warm and comfy and there’s plenty of free parking.
Mark your calendar for the next six months to come out. You never know who will be performing - might be all locals, might be folks from out of state, or it might be you.
See you there on Sunday and oh we almost forgot, it’s FREE!
