The Kansas Water Office‘s (KWO) Upper Arkansas Basin Advisory Committee (BAC) will hold a meeting to discuss current water issues affecting the basin area as well as the state.
The meeting will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, June 9 at the Finnup Center, 312 E. Finnup Dr., in Garden City. BAC membership recommendations on the Upper Arkansas BAC to the Kansas Water Authority will be determined. There will also be presentations by the Kansas Geological Survey and Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
