Floyd Allen Eberth, 87, of Basehor, Kansas, died April 4, 2018 at Bridge Haven Memory Care Residence in Lawrence.
Floyd was born February 20, 1931, in Basehor, to Edward Gustav and Margaret Emma Eberth. He attended Basehor schools, graduating from Basehor High School in 1949. On Dec. 9, 1962, Floyd married Cora Riddle. They raised two daughters, Kareen and Lorna, on the family farm.
Floyd was a member of the Ayrshire Association, served as the Leavenworth County Dairy Superintendent and served on the Leavenworth County Fair Board for 30 years. He was a Farm Bureau Board Member and was a member of the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club. He was also a member of the St. Martin Lutheran Church.
Floyd was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Cora, his sister, Charlotte, and brothers Edward, Barney, Bob and Paul.
He is survived by daughters, Kareen (Chris) Vaught, and Lorna (Robert) Davis; granddaughter Corianne (Jesse) Davis, and grandsons Clint Vaught, Garrett Davis and Wyatt Davis, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Davis Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Davis Funeral Chapel, with burial immediately following at the Glenwood Cemetery in Basehor.
