Lee Suiter, age 76, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the Stafford County Hospital. He was born Jan. 30, 1934 at Macksville, the son of Martin and Nellie I. (Hart) Suiter.
A lifelong resident of Macksville, he graduated from Macksville High School in 1952 and was manager for Dillwyn Grain Elevator for 30 yrs.
Memberships include; Macksville Christian Church, A.A., Stafford County Commissioner for 14 yrs., Macksville City Council and Fire Department, Parkview Manor Nursing Home Board Member and the Masonic Lodge.
On June 4, 1994, he married Joyce (Miller) at Macksville, she survives of the home.
Other survivors include, daughter Brenda Brack, Great Bend; sister Jeannie Aves, Macksville; step-son Mike Dutton, San Antonio, Texas; step-daughters Cheryl Johnson, Leoti and Joni Gaddis, Jenks, Okla.; grandson Bradon Brack; great grandchildren, Bradon and Chandi Brack; step-grandchildren Christopher and Braeden Johnson, Alexis and Christian Gaddis.
He was preceded in death by brother Richard; sisters Louise McCuller, Arlene Shelton and Shirley Sprout and granddaughter Chandi Brack.
Funeral service will be 10:30am, Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Macksville Christian Church with Rev. Derek Brown and Pastor Carey Haner presiding. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery, Macksville.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8pm with family present from 6-8pm at Minnis Chapel, Macksville. Memorials may be given to the Church or Stafford County Hospital in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, Ks 67576.
