OBITUARY: Dewey Lee Buntain 1929 - 2010

Dewey Lee Buntain, age 81, died July 29, 2010 at Pleasant View Home in Inman. He was born February 3, 1929 at St. John, the son of Eddie and Ceilia Buntain. A former mechanic and owner of Dewey’s Service until 2004, he lived in Hutchinson since 1950. On August 25, 1948 he married Doris Elaine (Fisher), she preceded him in death on Apr. 10, 2009.

Survivors include a son, Darren Buntain, Great Bend; a daughter, Dianne Denny, Blue Springs, Mo.; two brothers, Clifford and Grover Buntain; two sisters, Arlene Maggard and Lola Kimmel; four grandchildren, Matthew and Jeffrey Denny, Chase and Jordyn Buntain; and two great grandchildren, Elliott and Andrew Denny.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010 at Minnis Chapel, St. John with Pastor Darrel Murphy presiding with Visitation same day.

Burial will be in the Stafford Cemetery. 

Memorials may be sent to Pleasant View Home or Hospice Care of Kansas in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, Kansas  67576.
