Cettie E. Laird, age 99, Mound City, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Golden Heights Living Center in Garnett, Kansas.
She was born August 17, 1911 at Blue Mound, the daughter of Frank and Della Mitchell Curran. She married Leo Laird on August 4, 1935. He preceeded her in death on January 26, 1989.
She was a member of the Mound City Christian Church, former member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rainbow EHU.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Dorothy and Harry Stites, St. John; Nancy and Jerry Ewing and Carol and Bob Wood, Mound City; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 21, at the Mound City Christian Church.
