Editor,
I’ve been asked to share this self-motivation process with your readers.
According to my mail it is very helpful, especially in subjects the student doesn’t see much personal value in.
Attention: All Students
Would you enjoy getting more personal satisfaction and accomplishment from your education?
Would you want to try this exercise with one of your classes and if it is helpful to you, try it will all of your classes?
“Motivation: A Door With the Handle On the Inside”
Do you realize that you are the only one who makes the final decision about whether learning particular material is important to you? Do you think this activity could be helpful to students (with encouragement of those concerned with their successful education) from Kindergarten through Graduate School?
- A. Answer this before a class or unit, chapter or course:  What do I personally want to learn from the material being presented?
- B. Answer this after a class or unit, chapter or course: What did I personally learn from the material presented?
- C. Answer this last: How will I use what I learned in my future?
Do you realize that if you and your classmates shared these responses with your teacher/professor each of you would realize significant benefits?
