Primary election day is rapidly approaching. Have you chosen a candidate to support?
If so, how did you decide to choose your candidate? If not, how should you go about choosing one? Here are some observations and some points to consider.
Did you do your own background check? With regard to legislating, what has the candidate accomplished for his constituency, his state, his country?
If the candidate has prior experience as a legislator, how did they vote? Education? Does the candidate have a faith belief? Do you believe the candidate can be persuaded by outside influences, such as lobbyist’s, special interest folks, etc.? Does the candidate show fiscal responsibility in his private life, and/or his public life? Does the candidate fight to keep government from over regulating our lives? Does the candidate believe all life is sacred? In summation, is the candidate a person who says what they will do, and follow through and do it? (www.huelskamp.org)
Listing the candidates positives and negatives, who has the most proven positives?
I believe politicians are similar to planes, trains, and buses. They come and go. Miss one, catch another. However my candidate, Tim Huelskamp is running, economically, safely and on time!
I know him personally, and have checked his public voting record. He is not a negative, “mudslinger” type of candidate. You don’t hear or see his ads condemning opponents. One must admit that is highly unusual in this day and time! He articulates what he has accomplished as a legislator, he states what he will do when elected to congress in the “big first district of Kansas”.
Most importantly, he can back up his remarks.
The information is out there so that you can avail yourself of basically all information on all candidates. Please do so. Lastly, use your freedom and vote on August 3rd primary.
After screening all candidates, I urge you to vote for Tim Huelskamp. Our country needs someone like him in congress now more than ever. I am sure you will agree, our government is at an all time low. Tim Huelskamp can help fix it.
