South Hutchinson experienced another earthquake late Friday evening, with a magnitude 3.2 temblor occuring a 9:46 p.m.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake was centered just under 2 miles west of South Hutchinson, near the intersection of Blanchard and Broadacres roads.
About 130 Hutchinson residents and some two dozen in South Hutchinson reported on the USGS website feeling the quake.
Though not the largest, the earthquake was the seventh recorded in Reno County since March 1 and the third registering as a 3.0 or larger, the USGS data shows.
The county’s largest quake was a 3.4 on March 8 centered on the edge of Hutchinson.
