The St. John-Hudson track team took six first place medals at the Keith Blide Track Meet.
Two track meets, one postponed and rescheduled for a week ago Mon- day, the other one rained out halfway through, the rest of the events rescheduled for Monday.
Yes, the St. John-Hudson Tigers had their hands full, with not only the first meet at Spearville, and the second one at the Blide Invitational this week. To make things more interesting, throw in the school prom in between.
The most recent meet for the Tigers was the Blide Meet. The highlights for the Tigers with the gold, silver and Bronze listed and finished in the top spot with 103 points out of 10 teams listed.
The Tigers stacked up six first place finishes, which included two Relays. They were Trey Fisher in the 400 Meter Dash, the 4x800 Meter Relay comprised of Trey Fisher, Cashe McVey, Mason Osborne, Quincy Smith, Chase Fisher in the High Jump, Smith in the 800 Meter Run, A.J. Miller in the 3200 Meter Run, 4x400 Meter Relay comprised of Smith, McVey, Osborne and Trey Fisher, and McVey in the Javelin Throw.
Getting the silver was McVey in the 800 Meter Run.
The bronze went to Quincy Smith in the Triple Jump.
The Lady Tigers placed fifth out of nine times entered.
St. John’s Tara Nelson took gold in the Javelin Throw.
Silvers went to Page Doran in the 100 Meter Hurdles, Torre Fisher in the 300 Meter Hurdles, Crissman in the Long Jump and Nelson in the Discus Throw.
Bronze medals went to Fisher in the 100 Meter Hurdles, the 4x400 Meter Relay received bronze medals comprised of Fisher, Erin Crissman, Doran, and Melissa Williamson.
The first meet was the Spearville Invitational, the Tigers placing third, with several teams absent.
First St. John’s Chase Fisher took the gold in the high jump. Quincy Smith also took the gold in the 1600 Meter, and another in the 4x800 Meter Relay along with Mason Osborne, Cashe McVey and Trey Fisher.
Smith continued taking medals, getting the silver in the 800 Meter run, and anchored the 4x400 Meter along with Trey Fisher, Osborne and McVey. A.J. Miller took silver in the 3200 Meter.
Tanner Holling took the bronze in the Shot Put. McVey got the bronze in the 3200 Meter Run.
Fourth place medals went to Trey Fisher in the 400 Meter run and the 4x100 Meter consisting of Collin Halling, Eddie Calleros, Chase Fisher, and Tanner Halling.

A special notice to Gold medalist Paige Doran who went over the bar at 9’. She also took gold in 100 Meter Hurdles.
Erin Crissman took the silver in the Long jump. Tara Nelson got her silver in the Discus Throw.Nelson took the Bronze in the Javelin throw, Torre Fisher in the 400 Meter Dash, and Doran in the 300 Meter Hurdles.
Taking the fourth place medals was Bree Meyer in the100 Meter Hurdles. The 4x400 Meter Relay comprised of Fisher, Crissman, Meyer and Katie Burke placed fourth.
