"Tonight was a tough one to finish the season on,” said Macksville’s head football coach Chet Skinner. “We knew it would be a tough match up going into the game, we would have to play well on offense and be physical on defense. Ness City is a fast and physical team that is very balanced on both sides of the ball. Our seniors came out and played well for us, we just didn't have a couple of breaks happen for us that we needed. I hope the boys can look back on the season in a positive manner and the seniors on the journey over the last four years. I have enjoyed this season and glad I could coach these seniors."
