The St. John-Hudson Tigers ended their season with a 62-8 non-conference loss to the Kiowa County Mavericks.
The St. John-Hudson football season came to an end Oct. 25 with a non-conference 62-8 loss to the Kiowa County Mavericks.
The Tigers lone score came in the first quarter when Andrew Miller returned a 68 yard kickoff for a touchdown. Cashe McVey was successful with a two point conversion.
While the season ended with an 0-9 record, Coach Mike Simpson said the boys worked hard and he was pleased with their effort, attitude and work ethic.
Looking to next season, Simpson said the team needs to increase their physical strength and their football IQ.
